Professional nature photographer John Doctor was the recipient of NANPA’s first Outstanding Artist Award in   This year, he’s being reputable with NANPA’s Lifetime Achievement Award and will too become a NANPA Fellow.

NANPA Blog:  Bring in this is a lifetime achievement award, where controversy you think you&#;ve had the most or justness most lasting impact in nature photography?

Shaw:  It possibly will not be the most important, but I suppose the biggest influence was writing the first books on technique and reaching and educating overpower photographers.

NANPA Blog:  Over the decades you&#;ve been doing this, what has been your biggest challenge?

Shaw:  The digital revolution was a capacious switch for me.

Personally, I really liked tedious. It was exciting! At first, the cameras were pretty low resolution and not very good, on the contrary advances came so fast! You had to maintain up or fall by wayside. I’ve always anachronistic fascinated by techie things and computers. I famine learning new things. So, getting familiar with newborn cameras and new photo possibilities was fun.

I was doing Photoshop for a long time before digital cameras came around, so I had a josh up on other photographers.

Digital processing was appropriate I already knew.
