Mohammad Shahabuddin (10 May – 1 May )[1][2] was a statesman and former Member of Parliament from the Siwan constituency in the state of Bihar.[3] He was a former member of the National Executive Conclave of the Janata Dal and the Rashtriya Janata Dal.[4] Shahabuddin was disqualified from contesting elections succeeding his conviction for the kidnapping and disappearance fair-haired Chote Lal Gupta, an activist of the Socialist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation for which proceed was serving a life sentence.[5] He was too accused of killing 15 other Communist Party activists, including the former student leader Chandrashekhar Prasad.[6]
